The George and Dragon is a quiet traditional country pub that serves lovely food with very friendly and helpful staff. I was on holiday with family at Sandy le Mere and I came across this pub on Google so decided to try it. I called up to enquire about food options and was given lots of friendly information and advised to book a table. Upon arrival we were shown to our reserved table by a very friendly barmaid who took our drink orders whilst we decided what food to order. Our drinks were delivered to the table and the food came quite quick. My pizza was very tasty and had loads of toppings and I could not eat it all so the very friendly barmaid took it to be boxed for me to it take away with me. All 5 of us greatly agreed the food here was very tasty and good value for money. I decided to try the banoffy cheese cake which was a special and I was glad I did as it was fantastic the only down side was the other 4 people I was with had to try a bit. The locals in the pub were friendly and we all had a good time. If in the area again we all agreed we would call here again and I would recommend anyone to try the food here.

Staying down the road at park holidays and passed twice and I’m so glad we did. Best pub we have ever eaten in, the food was amazing. Staff are all very friendly and also very dog friendly, the chef even brought our dog a bowl of beef out. Amazing prices too for the quality and quantity of the food! Thanks again
