A free car park but it doesn't have toilets. Nice four mile walk from here on signed forest track to Wrench Green. Stunning views of Troutsdale from here. Nearest hospitality is in Snainton, a short drive away.

North Yorkshire Police will hassle you if you park here as there's been lots of apparent issues in the local forestry, if you park your camper here and go for a walk expect a lovely letter from the rural enforcement team giving you advice on people riding motorcycles in the area in places they shouldn't. If you are parking here and utilising the local Byways, avoid and find somewhere else. The police won't police the forest where the offenders ride, but will drive to car parks and the roads.....

Free car park. Good if you're walking round there. Was quite muddy and wet when I was there.
