Quiet and peaceful parking place in the woods from where you can take a walk and explore this southern end of the North Yorkshire Moors. The Adder Stone is an Interesting vast erratic. You can see more high up on the moors just a couple of parking places back (near the toilets) called the Bridestones. This picture in the woods is the Adder Stone.

Bizarrely they wanted to charge £9 per car for us to go through the forest to get to this..... so no chance chummy!
