Lovely pub in a quiet little corner. The staff were great and friendly. They have a dedicated Non Gluten menu for my coeliac 15yr old daughter which made life much easier for us for once. Food selection and quality was amazing. Everyone enjoyed it. They have a great selection of draught beers too. I'm not kidding when I write... That was the best Lasagne I've ever had. Thank you.
Called up last minute on Sunday wanted a dog friendly table, lady found us one on the sofas which we were quite happy to sit at, lovely starters and mains, lovely atmosphere and also a pool table. Desert wasn't out favourite but apart from that, it was delicious and the roast was well worth it!
After a lovely 5km walk through Allerthorpe Woods from the car park, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with drinks at The Plough Inn. Amazing food and fabulous service from Donna and Ange who also made sure our pooch Rey was well hydrated after her walk 😊🐶🍔🍺
