Great little free car park right next to the start of some walks. Just make sure your nav skills are good.....someone in my group got a little confused.....dropped their phone in a little stream.....we saw a deer so that made up for everything 😂😊
I'd be embarrassed if I parked on the road because I wouldn't pay 3 pound for the car park and ultimately the upkeep of the woods.
Loads of walking to be had in these woods, can get really busy and the parking is paid parking now unless you use the side of the road.
As a regular dog walker I refuse to pay car parking fees that were introduced last year
Not free anymore. Don't object to paying to park if something has been done. Like a map or some benches, dog poo bin. But just the same as before.
