Yorkshire Holiday Park is set on an inland island in the overlooking the weir in the River Derwent in the historic village of Stamford Bridge – just 7 miles from the City of York.

The stunning surroundings provide a haven for wildlife and visitors alike. The owners – The Hind Family – are passionate about encouraging wildlife and natural flora and fauna within the Holiday Park and the Park has been consistently awarded a David Bellamy Gold Award for protecting and enhancing the natural world and is certified as a Bee Friendly Holiday Park. The Park also received recognition for its work with hedgerows and achieved a 5 in 5 Award.

Yorkshire Holiday Park was also a finalist in Welcome to Yorkshire’s White Rose Awards (2016) and won a Yorkshire In Bloom Silver Gilt.

Yorkshire Holiday Park is open from 1st March – 31st October and is a great destination for those wishing to visit York, the North York Moors, The Yorkshire Wolds and the Coast. The Park is also convenient for day trips to Hull.

There is space for 25 touring caravans and motorhomes – with some seasonal pitches available in a private area; and the Park has fully serviced holiday homes with riverside locations available. There is also a private lake for fishing. The site has a launderette, toilets and showers and children’s play area. 
Pets are welcome.
