A grade II listed building Parking available at the back of the church or alongside the road The church is closed unless there is a service on The church was originally built in the 19th century and is a good example of the simple Gothic style and built from public funds, with a wonderful 3-stage tower Extensive graveyard that is well kept
When ghost hunting with the grandkids
A lovely church and beautiful place to visit
Not a nice place to visit but the ones I love are there
Victorian church which stands on a hill overlooking Alverthorpe. Whilst the outside of the actual building could do with a clean, the graveyard is always kept tidy. I frequently visit a family grave when I am walking past to take my dog for a run on the wonderful meadows behind the church.
