This is seriously one of the best pubs in Wakefield. I've been coming here for years and it's still brilliant. The service is outstanding, especially from Sally, the manageress who has turned this place into a real community kind of place. It's being 2 years since I last went there and it's still amazing. Pool table, sports on screens, live music,dj's,dogs allowed, friendly atmosphere and service, good drinks, just a generally brilliant place.Cheers Sally, for keeping this a place still with visiting π€ p.s.i took the photos at opening time hence why it looks quiet, but trust me when I say it gets busy.
Great little pub, best pint of landlord Iβve had in a while. Always has a choice of rotators which are always tip top. Only downside for me is that itβs not closer to my house.
Lovely village pub. Tiny outdoor area but very well kept/pleasant. Brilliant choice of drinks including ales. Friendly service. Definitely a locals pub but not one that makes you feel unwelcome. Recommended.
Have started popping in here with our dogs, very friendly and lovely atmosphere.
The new wheel is a quiet local pub. Friendly atmosphere from staff and customers. Pool table but cues will not compliment your game. There are two pumps which regularly change, one generally will have a dark ale, porter or stout and the other a pale on the from a varied list of local brewery's giving you a taste of their efforts to quench your thirst and titalate your tastebuds. Also on: Carling, fosters, Stella, Madri, Coors, Heineken 0%. Timmy Taylor's, Wainwrights, John's Smith.
