Great pub at bottom end of Westgate. Good beer and atmosphere. Good size beer garden can watch sports on tv or Pool table available.
Disgraceful behavior of staff, especially the shaven tattooed misogynistic guy who refused a nationally recognised ID (citizen card) for a 25yr old autistic person.
Great beer, atmosphere and fantastic craic. Staff friendly plenty going on. Doing breakfasts now, tasty and great prices. A++++
Was welcomed, even though it was our first visit. We were going to a wedding across the road, as we had driven up from Coventry and was early. Will definitely call in again when visiting family up Yorkshire. Wakefield/Barnsley. Highly recommend π
Warm and friendly welcome from all the staff. The atmosphere is amazing and the landlady is so lovely. You want a great place to enjoy a pint and a laugh, then this is the place to be
