Fantastic fish and chips, trust me I am a chef. Make sure to try the Irish curry sauce. I don't know what was Irish about it, but it was fantastic. The chips are twice cooked in beef dripping. I could honestly say it was one of the best fish and chips I've ever had.
The new owners have removed the special offers without notice! very inconvenient when you place a factory order! The order although small had several elements missing! (No time to go back in a 30min lunch brake) What ever fat they use to cook in now repeats on you for the rest of the day! Good shop spoiled.
Usually really nice but so disappointed this time. Fish was overcooked and chips were hard. Prices have gone up and no boxes anymore.
Just been for a medium fish and chips deal... would not have given it to my cat.. the fish was cooked as I waited and was raw in the middle.. the batter was so pale it was nearly white.. The chips tasted like they were a week old and don't get me started on the curry sauce.. only think I had was the drink but that was made by fanta.. if I was well enough I would have taken them back..
Pleasant & friendly staff who serve up a good fish & chip meal. Good service, fresh produce. It's a thumbs up from me.
