Town End Farm - The Long Barn

Description

The Long Barn at Town End Farm is a beautifully converted barn that has been equipped to the highest level. The seven generous bedrooms all have their own en suite facilites and flat screen TVs. High thread count cotton sheets and luxury weight towels and dressing gowns are provided. Each room has a hair dryer and we provide luxurious soaps, hand washes etc from Bath House.

Of the seven bedrooms four are fixed king size beds, the other three can each be set up as either one super king size or two single beds.

The kitchen is very well equipped with 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, large American style fridge freezer, Sage bean to cup coffee machine, 2 wine chillers, a large induction hob, food processor and a quooker boiling water tap. There are plenty of quality plates bowls cups, glasses and even sharp knives!

The Dining room is a double height space with a table that seats 14. In the dining room is a Samsung tablet that controls the 3 Sonos music systems, which are equipped with Spotify Premium.

The living rooms is a large space that can seat 20 and has a 4k (ulta HD television), a Sony PS4 and Sky box with Sky Sports and Movies. There is a modern wood burning stove (logs are provided).

Also downstairs just off the entrance is a warm boot room if you need to dry off any clothing.

Next to the Long Barn is the games room, this is a double height, underfloor heated 80 square meter area, that has table tennis, table football, and a Sony PS4 connected to a modern Epson projector.

The courtyard has ample space to park off road (no gate to open we have installed a cattle grid). There is an enormous oak table which can seat about 20 and some chairs to relax in if the weather is good. There is a large Weber Summit barbeque (fuel is provided).

The whole site is heated by a huge biomass boiler, which burns wood pellets and is almost carbon neutral, so is also very “green.”

Dogs are allowed but only 2-3 depending on breeds  and this needs to be agreed prior to booking.

The village is delightful, with some very handsome buildings including a Grade I listed church. The pub does a roaring trade and is very popular with residents and tourists alike, good real ales and great food served 7 days a week. The added bonus is the pub is about a 2 minute walk away.
