About Beech House Barns

Description

From the moment you arrive, tootling down this beautiful tree lined old Roman road, (repaired of course), with towering Oaks, Ashes and Beeches with Hawthorns, Wild Roses, Hollies & Hazels intermingled, you will appreciate that you are somewhere rather special.

Set amidst acres of breathtaking countryside, each Barn is within their own walled gardens and lawns approx 300 yards apart.

Middle Laithe - Stylish, Luxurious and Unusually Well equipped.

Five star accommodation, sleeping 2 – 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite).

Low Laithe - Stylish, Luxurious and Unusually Well equipped.

Five star accommodation, sleeping 2 – 7 people with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite).

The concept is the same throughout with just a twist of colour giving each room a different feel – something to suit all – designed with complete relaxation in mind.

Bang at the start of the Yorkshire Dales, that are best described as having many moods – wild, expansive, tranquil, charming even awesome. However you think of them, they unquestionably have the finest upland scenery in the UK, making them the perfect place whatever the season.

Also they make up 1 of 3 National Parks which protect more than 1000 sq miles of matchless walking country.

You can nip off to the Dev (as it is affectionately called) for a swim, sauna, work-out, game of tennis or beauty treatment – and, who knows, you may even catch a glimpse of Prince Charles and his Shooting Party out and about. Failing that, you will have to make do with Alan Titchmarsh.

If you fancy a jog or a walk, the footpath up to Beamsley Beacon is right on your doorstep – which I should add is not for the faint hearted! Or you can always go downhill to Addingham and check out one or all eight pubs (known as "doing the Dingham Dash") then either walk, taxi or be carried home!

Alternatively, stay put and on those balmy summer evenings fire-up the BBQ – take a glass of your favourite tipple and just sit and watch the sun go down.
For the more seasoned traveller – looking for something deeper than the usual tourist trail – to seek out the weird and the wonderful and the raw power of its history, it can all be found here – ruined abbeys and castles. Magnificent houses and gardens – picturesque villages. All of which are framed by high moors – wooded hills – lush farming country and breathtaking natural features.
