Fabulous place to spend a day in total safety and in such beautiful surroundings. I recommend you take your camera and some food for the ducks and you will soon have a thousand new friends. Lots of places to have a picnic and plenty to entertain the kids.
A great place for a walks, loads open space for playing, picnics etc, there are cycle routes, a place to hire bikes, a cafe, craft shop, play parks, plenty of parking in various locations, the lake is huge and a lovely walk around.
Great walking trails, loads of space for our dog to run around
Great place but don't follow this postcode as it takes you to a dead end. Easy access for wheelchairs to go around the lakes. Nice and flat.
Fantastic place to take the kids or go for a wander. You can just sit on the bank and watch the people go by if you like. Parking is ample and about 5-6£ for the day, less if you only do a couple of hours
