InstaVolt Charging Station

Easy access and well lit, and safe area. All machines appeared to be working. I used Beyton 3. Instructions on machine are focused on card users. I had the app so wanted to use that, which I did to start the charge, however I had to hit the emergency stop to disengage after charging as the app said it couldn't talk to the machine, and the machine said to show card, which I did, but it still wouldn't stop. However, once the emergency stop was hit, the machine displayed fault! Fault etc and disconnected. I reset the red emergency button, and the machine was left working. The app started working and showed the correct amount and charge info. Overall experience was good though, as with all Instavolt.

Work OK... Usually.... Not ultra rapid.. Max 50kw if your lucky... All the signage nearby advertises ultra rapid (100kw+) so false advertisements thus 3 stars. Some companies quote 'shared' however you still only receive 50kw regardless if the other plug is in use... Therefore still false advertisement

Easy to access, well-lit, easy to use with the app. Free parking for 1.5 hours (make sure you register your car in one of the establishments). Starbucks & Greggs, free WiFi. Have been using this for a couple of years to charge when visit family. Never an issue.

Mixed experience, been a couple of times and the chargers were faulty. This last time charger clicked off after 7 mins so had to move to the only other charger that was working , managed to get to 80% charge on this one. Will persevere and hope the charging situation improves.

The app did not pick up the charger. Inordinately priced at 85p. And ICE vehicle parked with engine running in charging bay!
