Semerwater Description
Semerwater is a glacial remnant lake which feeds into the River Bain – the shortest river in England – and provides a natural shallow lake that is perfect for wildlife and human life alike to enjoy.
From fishing to canoeing, there are many activities to enjoy on Semerwater, as well as lots of delightful walks which encircle this pretty place.
In addition, it’s a fine place to spend a while, with plenty of good parking (please respect the fees in place, as these help maintain the upkeep of this popular place).
Activities at Semerwater
Semerwater has a pay & display car park as is great for a picnic while throwing stones or just taking in the fresh air. For those who are more active, there are a range of activities available on the day ticket: windsurfing, sailing, paddleboard, canoe, wild swimming.
