I remember going here as a child on a school trip and being told ‘tender loving care’ for all small animals. But there were mice being bred in full view of a snake tank in the animal room. Like these mice were breeding in full view of the snakes they must of been terrified. Horrified me as a child, wonder if you’re still doing this while teaching kids to be kind to animals bit two faced.

I visited the centre today with my year 1/2 class. We had a brilliant time. The ladies running the workshops were fantastic, great with the children and really knew their subject matter. The centre and surrounding land are absolutely perfect for teaching children about the natural environment and our need to protect it.

Fantastic site. Just had Boston district cub scout hold a camp there and they loved the site, the nature reserve is great and they all loved running up and rolling or sliding down the hills (its flat where we are) the lady that did the bugs and reptiles was awesome with the Cubs and got them hooked on what she was talking about. Definitely recommend. Thank you.
