Cross Leigh Stores and Post Office

An excellent, traditonal village store. Most of the merchandise is on high shelves behind the counter. They offer a surprising and extensive range of products. They also offer coffee for the tired walker. The shop also doubles as a Post Office. A real credit to Austwick

Situated in the middle of Austwick, this shop along with the post office inside is at the heart of village life. A real gem when you have run out of essentials, need an urgent birthday card / gift or forgotten to pay in a cheque or get cash from the bank.

During Covid, going the extra mile to help us all. Ian and Michelle will sort whatever you need... And often cheaper than the big stores. The freshness and quality shines through.

Great local shop stocking most groceries and an asset to the village. Very friendly proprietors and a post office to boot. What more could you ask for.

Lovely steak pie, equally good currant slice, and friendly people. Not expensive either. A walker's dream come true :-)
