Lovely visit. Middle section would be more and easily visible if they removed the hedge from the viewing point. Access good, not really wheelchair friendly. Parking charges bit expensive £3-50 for 2hrs. Peaceful place but was a Thursday we visited so not so busy. Could well image weekends bd busy and it wouldn't be as enjoyable.
Beautiful place with some really nice views. Nearby car park is well placed and offers good access to the falls. Paths are pretty level but there are quite a few steps down to see the falls close up. Everything is well signposted. The car park has 2 options for paying. Up to 2 hrs and up to 4 hrs. Unless walking is an issue or you're going elsewhere (easy walk to Bolton (?) Castle) you can do easily in under 2 hrs. Car park loo is open off season with an honesty box.
Nice easy parking for both the higher and lower falls, toilets here, we had a couple of hours which was enough for us for £2.70, great food at nearby Mill Race tea rooms over the bridge. The falls if you haven’t been are just stunning, this was our 2nd visit.
Beautiful falls and scenery however the car park is a little small and parking around the Falls we struggled with. After an hour we finally got parked. The ice creams are to die for also so highly recommend getting one whilst there! Lovely spot and will venture here again in the future
Of the two car parks, if visiting the falls I'd recommend you use this one as it's centrally located between the upper falls and the mid/lower falls. It also has a great little tea room and information centre so you can stop for refreshment between visiting the different sections. Whilst the falls have some great walks the upper falls are really beautiful and if time is limited I'd start you walk up from the car park as opposed to going down to the lower section.
