Hall Farm Barns

WOW! Absolutely stunning set of barn conversions/restorations!!! Stayed here in August 2023 as part of a wedding party following a wedding at Hooten Pagnall Hall. The amount of time, effort and immaculate attention to detail that the owners Jackie & Dean have put into restoring these barns is clear to see in every part of the accommodation! The main barn living space is huge, and all of the original wooden beams, joists and centuries old woodworking methods have been restored as they would have been centuries ago! Cleverly reinforced with modern materials so should hopefully go on to last many more centuries! Having done most of the work themselves and a few close friends, they are very talented craftsmen and interior decorators 🙂 Of course the bride & groom very deservedly stayed in the main barn, after putting on an outstanding wedding, which has a fully equipped modern kitchen, blended into the old features perfectly, the massive main hall living space which has a TV, large dining table, roaring fire, comfy sofas, a piano, two down stairs bathrooms, and huge double doors into the private courtyard! The upstairs mezzanine level over the kitchen has its own living area, large double bed, walk in wardrobes, and huge en suite bathroom! We had 3 more additional cottages just next door, which again had been developed & restored to the same high standards! Each has their own extremely comfy beds (mix of doubles & singles), en-suite bathrooms, kitchenettes (stocked with lots of breakfast options, tea, coffee, milk & fruit!) I could go on, there’s much more… but I think it's pretty clear how impressed I was! They are great friendly down to earth hosts, and whether you stay for one night or a few weeks you will not be disappointed! You could even just go along to the very popular Yoga sessions, various types of massages or a sauna! Thanks Alex

A truly beautiful experience. The place, set in beautiful surroundings, is a delight. Beds are super comfy, nothing is left to chance, the hosts have thought of everything.. Highly recommend this peaceful and tranquil retreat. It’s fabulous!
