Hollins Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf

Just back from a night stay bed and breakfast with a spa treatment and an evening meal. We booked a twin and we’re surprised but delighted that it was 2 double beds, blackout curtains were much appreciated-all the staff we encountered were lovely, especially the two on dinner in the grill-only two people on for a full service-food was delicious-breakfast wise-what I would expect on a deal-it was great value-spa experience was good, jacuzzi out of action sadly, swimming pool a great size, robe given to you was small, I’m a size 20 and called ahead and glad I did do that, service at the spa was brilliant-I had Liv and a full body massage and facial-my skin feels amazing and she got out all my knots! (She was excellent) Can’t really fault it-thank you for a relaxing overnight stay.

Great place to stay. Very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely food very friendly staff. Had great time in swimming pool jacuzzi. Sauna. Steam room. 2 x gyms hotel set in beautiful golfing grounds definitely try it out. I have three times now and chef's steak and ale home made pie. Beautiful.

The building itself is very nice and impressive, but the stay felt a bit inconsistent. The beds could be more comfortable, and the room wasn’t particularly clean. Breakfast felt underwhelming for the level of the hotel and when I asked for a hot chocolate, I was directed to a different floor and bar instead of having it brought to my table. Overall, there’s a noticeable mismatch between the luxury that the building projects and the more chain-like vibe of the rooms and service.

Beautiful room, amazing food, don't play gold but walked my dog in her disabled pram round the grounds and it looked very good too. Did try the pool, steamroom and hottub which I really enjoyed. But most I want to praise the staff, every person has been so amazing, friendly, gone a bit extra to make sure and my dog (that's lost use of her back paws) had everything we needed and gave her the fuss she demands.

We had our wedding at Hollins Hall this weekend and Tanya, the coordinator was phenomenal. The event space was all set up for us, and she was on hand throught the day events to help with anything we needed. Almost all of our 60 guests stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and had high praise for the food, staff, rooms and facilities. The wedding package made planning easy, with various menus and price points, it was easy to tailor it to us. Can't praise the reception, wait staff and bar staff enough, they were all lovely and helpful!
