It has been a long held ambition to learn to play the guitar, so my wife bought me a series of lessons with Rob as a birthday present. As well as being an excellent guitarist, Rob is blessed with plenty of patience and I am pleased to say that progress has been made! I highly recommend Rob as a teacher for all ages.
Our son is now 16 and is the proud owner of a grade 8 distinction in rock guitar. As talented as our son is, this has also been achieved because Rob is such an excellent teacher. Rob is extremely patient, hardworking and a great musician and we continue with guitar lessons even after achieving the highest grade as the relationship between our child and Rob is so good. We would highly recommend Baildon Guitar School.
Rob is a great guitar tutor, knowledgeable and patient. As a returning guitarist I’ve tried to teach myself, but having Rob steer my progress has been a great decision!
I'm an adult student of Rob's and he had to start me from the vary basics - how to string a guitar, read music, etc. But I've come a long way now with my classical guitar - my family no longer leave the room when I pick it up! Rob is excellent, moves at your pace but keeps you moving.
My daughter 7 years old when she had Rob has her guitar teacher.She is now 14. We no longer live in Baildon but Rob’s like the Guru and my daughter cannot think of having a different Guitar teacher. We travel from Dewsbury every week and trust me it’s worth it. Rob adjusts his teaching to the way my daughter learns better. She has completed several certifications. One thing Robs taught her is resilience When the song gets tough he pushes her to keep at it and each time they crack a song her confidence grows..
