Saturday, 9am, if you want something, ask for it. I asked for a saddle to be turned into Barnsley chops and singe chops. No issue. The lamb is excellent and very reasonably priced. The smoked bacon is also very good and very inexpensive. I live in Cambridgeshire, pity, if it were close I wouldn't go anywhere else.

In comment to another review - the shop now takes card payments. I stop here if I happen to pass by Bainbridge during office hours. The sausages and bacon are the best. The thin pork sausages don't have anything extra like apple, they are just very good plain pork sausages. Try them, you will see what I mean.

The smoked bacon I got here today was not only gorgeous but was also incredibly good value. I look forward to eating the steak and lamb I got too. The service was impeccable and so friendly. Mid afternoon, mid week, the display counter had a few pies and 2 pieces of pre-packed pork fillet, nothing else. We bought both packs of pork, which was excellent. This left no fresh meat on display. This butcher has now been removed from our list of local options.
