There's a tea room and bakery a few yards from here, Lunesdale Bakery. Do yourself a favour, avoid that and come to Cottage Deli instead. A bacon bap at Lunesdale is £9, and for that privilege you sit in a darkened old room and wait an age to even be served. Here it's £4.50, done in minutes, lovely big bap, generous portion of thick bacon and very, very tasty. Walk across the road if the sun is out and sit on the Turner's View bench outside Boots - perfect sun trap in the afternoon and a great spot to eat your big, reasonably priced lunch!
Ordered two paninis and they were both delicious. Highly recommended and will be back.
