The Coach & Horses

The coach & horses is a great 1930's pub which has retained most of its original decoration. It has good food & drinks too. Sorry, I took no pictures.

Fortunate enough to have this place as my local. After reopening with great success and then faltering slightly (due IMO to some poor staffing), I'm pleased to say it's a great place to go again. Current staff are top notch! Super friendly and welcoming. Love the rolling changes of various cask ales from (mostly) Don Valley Brewery, with the staple Atomic Blonde going down a treat. Life is back in the village boozer and long may it continue.

Love this place. Beautiful renovation and lots of outdoor space with great service ...limited menu...just pizzas but that's not a surprise under the circumstances. It's the tiny details that make this pub such a pleasure to visit.

Me and my wife travel a fair way to visit this outstanding establishment. The bar menu doesn’t disappoint serving the finest pizzas around. We often visit Sicily as a couple and the pizzas certainly rival this. The street food served outside is lovely and the change in menu is certainly a hit on the weekend. The staff are always very welcoming and the outdoor seating areas with the screens are handy to keep my kids busy and watch the football. As a family we love this pub and will continue to visit.

Awsome pub, I wish I could have stayed longer. Service was very friendly, food was good and they also had an excellent number of whiskeys to choose from.
