Library @ the Lightbox

Very pleasant staff members and professional at all times. My children and i spend a significant amount of time in the library and we always feel at home. Great place for kids and adults to interact. I highly recommend this library. Thank you to all the members of the staff.

Alice is so lovely and so helpful really took the time to make sure I got what I needed to do. Such a fantastic space with great selection of books and piano books even. But honestly special thanks to Alice for saving my day. Superb service 😎 Update On my visit today sadly the staff on the reception counter or one lady in particular seemed as though anything was to much trouble. Ended up walking off an sitting down talking instead of actively trying to help me. I might of only been returning books but I would of been grateful for assistance. Of which I presume she is employed to assist users of the library. Not sit down an have a chat. Janet I think she was called. Blonde an brown hair. Very unhelpful. Nothing at all like Alice.

I must admit it is a state of the art equipment plenty of space between computers plenty of computers and printers in the Learning Hub can log on to your account for two hours a day for free. Haven’t used any other service yet but so far so good . Have been using facilities to apply for work. Comfortable and clean and Zero tolerance to food by the computers.

Wonderful library with helpful staff, a great selection of books, and invaluable free printing (within reason).

The staff working at the Lightbox Library are very sweet and welcoming, big thank you to the two lovely ladies today for helping me and my brother. Also thank you to their manager for stepping in to help. We need more warm, friendly people like them in Barnsley!
