What a beautiful Town Hall we have! I was a photographer at the wedding ceremony held at Town Hall registry office. The inside of the room were the ceremony is taking place is really beautiful. The outdoor as well. You have a feeling like you are in sunny Spain especially with green plants set up in front of the entrance. Great place for your wedding! :)
Buit in 1933 Built by Brigs and Thornley of Liverpool. Beautiful architecture amazing place to vist
Very interesting museum. The town hall outside and inside is very well kept.
went to a wedding here on the 30th March, terrible service from the staff dealing with weddings. 15 people were not allowed into the wedding. they were turned away 30 minutes before the wedding because they were too early and then when they tried to get in again 15 minutes later they were again turned away for being too late to the wedding, members of staff were very rude and refused to give their names when asked.
A very good place to visit, especially if taking children. The exhibits about Barnsley brought back a lot of memories especially the markets which for me were far better. The LOTR exhibition is very good, tried explaining most of it to my grandson, he listened but was far more impressed with Smaug.
