Love coming into this cafe when shopping. Beautiful coffee, staff always give you a warm welcome. Love being local to this place as the coffee is great but the only down fall is … please get some Heinz ketchup for my bacon sandwich haha. If I’m paying £5+ for a bacon and cheese sandwich which is only two rashers of bacon (but is very nice) I’d really love some Heinz sauce as the ketchup I got given was a little bit like kids play area ketchup.
Dropping a star as when paying for a light meal for family can become quite costly. However the quality and taste of the food is delicious. My kids love their smoothies and shakes and I can never go wrong with their coffee. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and amazing. They work as a team and fully support each other, and always have a smile on their face, even when they experience rude and intimidating customers.
Amazing service. Family orientated cafe. Good service especially Sarah. Nice to see a company employing and making adjustments for staff with disabilities. Witnessed a customer being very rude to Sarah which was not appropriate as it was very discriminatory against her disability! Not all disabilities are visible and she works amazing to deliver good food!. Nice to hear next has dealt with it by banning the customer. I have had no issues with the customer service and will be returning! Nice to read on other reviews that the customers and their “friends” who were inappropriate about her visual impairment will not be returning ! It will make it even better!
Had a coffee and a lemon and blueberry slice here today and met the loveliest girl at the till she complimented me and has honestly made my day, she is a treasure to your team and I will be coming back because of her kindness and welcoming nature. I wish I got her name but she will know who she is! Thank you for being so kind. 🩷🥺
You can imagine how surprised we were on or last visit to be told we would not be served due to a comment my husband made on our last visit. The comment was not personal but was taken so. The assistant was struggling to see the items selected on the till she nearly had her nose on the screen to find the sandwiches that had been selected. My husband just said he thought that it only happened with old age, to be told well I'm nearly blind in one eye and can't see that good. My husband said so am I as he wears glasses, which she did not. Is it your policy to employ staff with these disabilities were hot food and drinks are been served as in the past she has had a few mishaps with the oven you use. There is also a member of her family that frequents the cafe on Sundays when we do that sits with her family that collects the plates and cups for them this is a young girls of around 10 years of age, we would not have commented about this but as we find the issue to be very woke that has been raised I felt it my job to let you know about other things that go on in the cafe. After this has happened a few of our friends who use the cafe have also passed comments and are now staying away from the cafe.
