Fantastic little busy cafe! The food is all homemade & tasty, and the desserts just wow😍 All baked fresh by Sue or Julie and they are incredible, always a different range of items & flavours! The server Debbie is always so polite and outgoing I always look forward to getting served by her!🤩💯
Went yesterday (22nd August 2025) it was busy and the serving lady was run of her feet and the other staff was on a go slow day. We had to wait to order then had to wait 45 mins for our food to arrive . The ones that had ordered after us got their food before. I had chilli with rice, that was reasonable but the rice had not been drained enough. My friend had a Braising Steak Dinner, she usually has it so it must have been good. This time she noticed that it didn’t taste as good and could not eat it. then she started to feel unwell. She was gipping and feeling sick at the table and when she got home she started with the diarrhoea. There were a few people that was complaining. The staff seemed un organised.
I was with my friend and her mum who is 91 I had taken her mum to sit down and have a drink while we waited for my friend to get there, we were told that we couldn't stay long and save seats we planned on having a meal but came out disgusted literally thrown out because she was longer than 2 mins. We had already bought a drink while waiting, we were made to feel so uncomfortable so left our drinks.
Lovely place for brunch. Great shop and lots of outdoor activities. Huge car park. Food was lovely.
The food here is all cooked fresh and is very good, the service is good and the cakes are absolutely amazing
