Wonderful place! The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the crumbly feta took it to the next level. Portion size was just right. Coffees were great too, loved the coffee art 😊 Lovely staff. Cozy atmosphere with plenty of space. Some nice views through the window. Definitely recommend it and will be back 😊
Located inside the town hall, lovely little café with welcoming, friendly service. Clean. Bright. Not to be confused with the other Old George in town, this one is just by the museum in the large civic building. Splendid cake and chai latté. Would revisit.
16/01/2025 - Today i experienced the best soup and sandwich combo i have had in my life! Soup - Thick, full of flavour and colour. Sandwich - Soft bread with a creamy chicken and bacon filling. It was AMAZING ! THANK YOU OLD GEORGE
Absolutely banging breakfast. It’s £14 but the sausage game is strong
My favourite place in Barnsley for getting a lovely coffee or artisan tea. They brownies are divine and the food has always been nice. My go to meetup place with friends and family.
