Food was yummy! Barnsley was a pit stop on our way back to London from Leeds. Found this restaurant open late, and the food was really good (Veg & Non-veg). Full of flavour, nice and fresh & staff were great too!
Nice Turkish food, been to a few different Turkish places in the past and this lives up to the hype. I like the sujuk sausage, the mixed grill is great you get to try most of everything. Service was good. Will be coming back. There’s a car park pay and display right next to it, wasn’t expensive.
My friend and I passed through Barnsley and happened to stumble upon this hidden gem. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we entered. Keep it up guys. I ordered Lamb beyti and he ordered chef’s special - humus and the drink effes. The food was 10 out of 10 it really took me back to the istanbul streets where beyti and izgara smoke in the air feel you up. I loved the inside of the restaurant. The playlist was great. Volume not too loud, not too quite. Staff very responsive and attentive. The only thing that caught my attention that i think is room for improvement was the bathroom basin which was positioned in a very awkward place right where the door was. It was uncomfortable to get in and out where someone is washing their hands. All in all, i have been to many Turkish restaurants in the country and worldwide, this defo is in the top best. Thanks Istanbul kitchen team. I appreciate the experience and the delicious food. Keep it up.
Absolutely love this restaurant. Food is amazing. So much choice including vegetarian and gluten free. Large portions and suer tasty. Friendly staff who play a birthday song when you let them know you are celebrating a birthday. Blue light card discount is accepted too. Highly recommend.
Sat it the restaurant now and I love everything about it. All authentic and great atmosphere. Food upto now has been exceptionally good. I am on my own after a xmas night out and that I have sneaked off early. Will be back
