Would 1000% recommend eating here, nicest Italian food I’ve ever had and that is absolutely not an over exaggeration. We went for a double date on a Saturday and it was a tiny bit slow for service but not enough for me to knock a star off, the waitresses were particularly lovely and friendly, it was just busy. The food was tasty, fresh, great ingredients (olives a particular highlight unusually!), and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be coming back here with our friends and family.

Visit Med at Olana at the weekend and what a treat it is! We came down from Wakefield to celebrate our anniversary & this restaurant really made the occasion special. The restaurant is small & intimate which gives it a delightful vibe. I will say that this does mean if there are any groups in the restaurant that are slightly louder than the rest, you will hear their whole conversation. The menu is small & seasonal, which I love, because I am a nightmare when it comes to choosing on a big menu. We had three courses and each one was amazing! The whipped goats cheese & seabream were particularly spectacular. Everything was cooked fresh in the open kitchen & you could really tell! All of the staff that looked after us were brilliant. They were so attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The restaurant is in the middle of two pretty loud bars/clubs but the minute you walk in and close the door, you would honestly never know. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough - such a special treat! Not to missed.

Loved our meal here! Highly recommend the mushroom arancini and gambas pil pil, so so tasty. Service was a little slow but it’s only a small restaurant and to be honest we didn’t mind as the food was so worth the little wait. It has a lovely atmosphere, we will most definitely be back!

Had a wonderful meal here and though probably pricey for Barnsley it has to get good marks, would have given 5 stars if my plate didn't have a large crack in it, not good enough. Atmosphere somewhat spoiled by people having to talk far too loudly to others within a yard of them, I have no interest in their holidays or plans. Wine was also very good, no doubt we'll try the place again.

I couldn’t wait to review this place food was absolutely incredible. We couldn’t get in till 9pm so we thought we’d give it a try like they do in Mediterranean country’s. Had a few steady drinks a few hours before hand. By the time 9pm came around we were ready and this place did not disappoint. The menu isn’t too big, the place isn’t too big which gives a nice intimate atmosphere. The food tastes as good as it looks the staff were fantastic. I’ve never tried Michelin star food but I’m guessing this is as close as it gets without actually having one. Had 3 amazing courses. Mushroom arancini and beef cheek croquette for starters. Lamb parpadelle with mozzarella and beef Italian sasauge and orecchiette for main. Salted caramel brownie with ice cream for desert. 10 out of 10 a wonderful dining experience. I’m guessing you won’t beat this place in Barnsley.
