Absolutely amazing experience. The food was epic and the service was brilliant. You really have some talented students. Very good value for money. Highly recommend the fine dining evenings on a Thursday.
Fine dining experience at the Open Kitchen is fantastic. Those students create the most beautiful and delicious dishes. I have enjoyed every single bite that I have eaten there, and I've been at least 5 times now. The students are polite and take pride in their work. For the price, these menus are an absolute dream. The pictures are from a couple on months back, tonight's menu was SENSATIONAL, I was enjoying it so much I forgot to take an image. I reccomend this to everyone!
The open kitchen is a training restaurant for catering and hospitality students at the college. That means that everyone is learning their roles as they go from the waiting staff to the chefs. You wouldn't know that though. The food is amazing, tonight i had French Onion soup,, belly pork with a black pudding and a raspberry and shortbread stack. It was all delicious, very well presented, and better quality than many meals we've had in "proper" restaurants. At £11.95 for the three courses you can't argue.
Always a pleasure, the food is amazing, the staff do a great job nurturing the students and bring out the best in them. Very proud to have this place in our town showcasing our fabulous college students
Excellent value for a very good meal. Drinks are reasonably priced too and I would definitely recommend a visit here.
