Won a £40 voucher, amazing customer service and received the order so fast!!! First time using Barnsley eats and will deffo be using again.
Contacted Barnsley eats regarding an order I received. The food took 2 hours and was freezing cold when it arrived and all had to be thrown in the bin. The restaurant said they would refund me but they couldn’t do it their end, as Barnsley eats had completed the order before it even arrived!! They said I would need to contact Barnsley eats. I have done twice with no response!! Awful customer service. They go on about just eat being more expensive but at least you have a customer service team you can contact with just eat. I will never place another order through Barnsley eats. Waste of time and money. Save yourself the bother and order directly through the restaurant or just eat.
I've got in touch twice regarding an order from Balti Palace & received an automated reply to say they would be in touch & I'm still waiting. This is a little unfair. I used Barnsley eats as I wanted to support local companies but I won't be using again I'm very disappointed. I've not had this problem with any other company.
An hour after order and 40 mins after updating to say it’s out for delivery I get a phone call to say they can’t deliver. Would get a refund but they didn’t know how long it would take. Contacted Barnsley eats and they sorted out my refund quickly. Excellent service from Barnsley eats. Shame about the takeaway.
The food was ok but due to wrong order by the time i got my food it was barely luke warm. I was tracking via the app and it said my order was out for deliver then completed. 40 minutes later it arrived. When it arrived i was given the complete wrong order so the delivery driver had to come back to swap them. Delivery driver told me the restaurant didn’t tell him which order went to which address and the restaurant told me it was drivers fault. Think they need better communication between themselves and don’t put an order as complete when its not even with the customer yet. Due to this my food was nearly cold
