Definitely got its groove back! Not been for a couple of years as we had a bad experience near Christmas (40 mins waiting for staff to clean up a diners accident) but after giving it another try last night I was pleasantly surprised, chips were average (but acceptable as not really an Indian speciality) everything else was top notch and the nan was probably the best I’ve tasted. Simply fantastic
Called in a few time nice spaces restaurant well set out grate service and menu. Function room above the restaurant good venue for small receptions party's etc.
This a nice chilly place (pun intended). I like the choice and quality of food. Chilli restaurant has a nice atmosphere and friendly stuff. I am using their unlimited curry deal and eating there every day, enjoying myself and great quality Indian food in a small town.
Chilli is so consistently excellent! I return to this restaurant many times, which I haven't done with any other curry I've found in Barnsley. It's hard to find good vegetarian options normally too, but Chilli does a paneer makhani that I literally crave, if I go too long without 😂 My partner has had many different meat curries from them too and they're always nice - he currently enjoys the Chicken Tikka Chasni, if you're after a recommendation. Have been in to the restaurant (which was inside another restaurant but they still served the Chilli menu) + I've also had (many a) takeaway, both are really great consistently. Breads are delicious. Ugh, just everything lol - couldn't recommend them enough tbh. Order on their website instead of a 3rd party + support local!!
Brilliant service friendly after numerous visits. But on our last family outing there. The food was terrible. Out of seven meals 3 chicken dishes where made out of chicken that probably died disease ridden and of old age... But I stress what prompted this review was the reaction of Simon the owner! After a few. Comments where made in regards to the chicken... Last visit... After the nonchalant shrug of his shoulders... 250 pounds never again
