Best jacket potato I've ever had. The worker was really nice and sweet and he was very patient. It's very cheap £6 FOR A MEAL (The meal was so filling it it worth it.

Visited here with my friend at the weekend and had high hopes but the food was terrible. I got a kids hot dog which was supposed to be a rollover hot dog but was something you usually buy at the supermarket and the jacket potato my friend got was stone cold, including the toppings. We both got brownies, they were £1.50 and it was definitely a ‘you get what you pay for’ moment. There was only one girl serving everyone, poor girl looked overwhelmed and I’m not surprised, she was great though.
I called into Hey Potato Barnsley this weekend for lunch on my way home, I got a jacket potato box with salad and was very impressed by the selection of toppings, portion size and topping ratio. Food was hot, fresh and tasted amazing. I was served by Stevie, he was very polite, and informative when I asked about their allergen information. I have multiple food allergies and usually don't eat on the go, but Stevie answered all my questions and I could clearly see the salad and toppings were all separate and work space was very clean. He even cleaned down the surfaces and equipment before serving my food to help prevent any cross contamination, without asking, something I'm really appreciative of. Top marks from me!!
Best potato stand in Barnsley!! I ordered a jacket potato with beans, cheese and all salad. Honestly it was to die for! Such reasonable pricing aswell when you get salad included. Staff were lovely and welcoming and the potato was amazing. It was lovely and soft and filled with butter 😍. I would recommend this place 100% if even say it’s as good as the old potato stand if not better 👀
