HSBC Barnsley

Came in first thing 0930 to create a joint account, we waited about 15/20mins. Then was seen by 'Karen' who was very polite professional and a great help. We also did a savings account too. Hopefully we will be back to sort out some more savings :))

Been in Barnsley branch today and Jess who came to assist us was most helpful pleasant and kind,she even sparred the time to thank us for making her laugh such a cheerful person,rest of the staff seemed pleasant

Karen couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, went out of her way to assist with a security reset and updating details on our joint account.

Terrible customers service. They expect us to do everything the machines. People are confused, staff have to come and help and it takes an absolute eternity because there's only one staff member to help. Getting rid of the tils with staff dealing with things was the worse decision ever. I'm closing my account.

This 5 star review is purely down to the service of one member of staff. Ioana went above and beyond to help me solve a problem I have been having with HSBC for a long time. Even with the poor services provided over the phone by HSBC in terms of credit cards, Ioano went above and beyond to help me in branch. An absolute credit to your business and someone who should be really appreciated as a member of staff. I would like to say that all the staff in the Barnsley branch are very helpful however I would no longer be banking with HSBC if it wasn't for Ioana.
