Express Hand Car Wash

I’ve been coming to this car wash for over 7 years, and they’ve never disappointed! The staff are always friendly, the service is quick and professional, and my car always comes out spotless. It’s rare to find this level of consistency and care — highly recommend to anyone who wants their car to look its best!

Prices not as advertised. I was told the price would be more than advertised due to the mess in the car. We are taking about 2 Tommy spinners and a few blades of grass in the driver footwell carpet. Nothing a vacuum wouldn’t shift in a few seconds. It seems unless your car is pristine you will pay more, but then why go for it cleaning? I went to nearby Oakwell Hand Car Wash. They charged £5 less for a great job. They also got my £5 Christmas tip. I’ll be taking my business there in future.

very impressed, they went above and beyond to please, excellent job and worth every penny. my van had green mould on the top and even inbetween the roof rack they was up on top of my van and braught it back to perfection

I stopped at this car wash today to get my small car cleaned inside and out. The sign clearly said £20 for a small car. One of the workers asked me to step outside so he could look at the car. He could see that I had already emptied everything from inside, and it only needed a hoover and a quick wipe. Then he told me it would be £25 instead of £20. When I asked why, he said it was because the car was “dirty” — which left me quite shocked, since that’s exactly why people go to a car wash. I thanked him and left. The whole experience felt unprofessional and unfair. Prices should be clear and consistent — not changed on the spot. I definitely won’t be returning.
