Wilthorpe Park Dental Surgery - Barnsley

This was my first visit to the surgery following a negative experience with another provider so I was somewhat trepidatious.The friendly, professional and welcoming staff made me feel very comfortable immediately and kept me informed about every step of the treatment. My children are also registered at the surgery and they would absolutely echo my sentiments about their own experiences. I would not hesitate to recommend Wilthorpe Park to others.

an easy 5 stars in all departments. i hadn't been to the dentist in forever due to a very bad experience last time and severe anxiety. mej is a fantastic dentist and i can't recommend her highly enough. she put me totally at ease and explained everything thoroughly. 3 appointments so far (1 check up and 2 deep cleans), all good. great receptionists, booking system... too. i feel lucky to have it as my new dentists.

We had to attend as an emergency appointment through 111 for my 8 year old. Emmanuel was professional and fantastic with my daughter, cleverly hiding the "scary" dental tools from her while she was panicking and asking what things were. He really helped put her at ease. The appointment was quick and the team did what they needed to do for her without fuss. Thank you x

I was sent here via 111 for severe pain in my upper right molar. Now to say im terrified of dentists is a major under statement. I've passed out before now and normally have work completed under sedation. After 13 hrs of pain I made the decision to have it pulled and I'm so pleased that I did. I was lucky enough to see Prateek (dentist) and Keeley (nurse) and they were nothing short of amazing. Patient and understanding. Making my smile and talking to me to distract me. Keeley had me doing toe wiggles to concentrate on while the pulling out part took place. Although they were busy within the surgery, they allowed me the time after to calm down and steady myself before allowing me to stand and then leave. I truly cannot thank you both enough. I walked out of there feeling like a rock star for doing something that terrified me. If I'm every in pain again and need 111, I pray I come to you guys. Many many thanks.

I had my first appointment with Lachlann today and can honestly say he’s the best dentist I’ve ever seen. He carried out a very thorough examination, explained everything clearly, and even prepared notes for me to take away. This for me is really going above and beyond rather than rushing through the appointment as I’ve experienced with other dentist’s in the past. I’ll have no hesitation returning in the future. The only small downside was that my appointment ran about 30 minutes late. Everyone was apologetic, and I hope this was just a one-off, as the overall quality of care was great. I might even look forward to future appointments!
