Absolutely cannot recommend this salon enough! Lydia is incredible and so knowledgeable in her trade. She’s constantly learning and trying out new products which have made a huge difference to my sad, dry and damaged hair. She recently tried some new Blonde Solutions bleach and K18 treatment on my hair and it’s genuinely never felt so soft and healthy. I’m going to ask for it every time now, 100% worth the extra money!

I went to Hair Institution & Lydia after seeing photos on instagram of clients hair and I had the most positive experience possible. Lydia was so kind and explained everything that was happening as it was happening and had a thorough conversation with me beforehand to see exactly what I wanted and how we could do it. She is so knowledgeable and knew exactly how to make my hair look the best it could and bring out all curls, even teaching me how to do it myself to keep the style. I felt so comfortable and at ease straight away, absolutely would recommend to anybody!

This is hands down the best hairdressing experience I've ever had. Can't thank Lydia enough for restyling my hair. I LOVE it! It's taken me years to find a hairdresser who just... gets it. It took just a few words from me for Lydia to know exactly what I was after. Not only that, but she is so knowledgeable and honest about what's going to look good, and takes the time to assess the type/quality/condition of your hair beforehand. I often feel really nervous and intimidated going into salons, but there is such a warm and friendly atmosphere at Hair Institution that I'm confident it could make even the most anxious of clients feel at ease. Today was my first time going to Lydia for my hair doing and WOW, honestly it was the best hairdressing experience I’ve had in such a long time!! She is warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable, she explained the process step by step and I felt like she truly cared about my hair. Everything she did was in the best interest of maintaining healthy hair whilst achieving my desired colour and style. The finished look was everything I had hoped for and more! Her salon has super cool decor and a really chilled vibe to it, not to mention her adorable dog was there for added cuteness!

I had my hair done last week by Lydia and I had the best experience! Firstly, my hair looked absolutely stunning and it was everything I asked for and more! She talked me through my hair before cutting it making sure she knew exactly what I wanted. Secondly, the salon is beautiful! I love the aesthetic and the whole vibe was perfect. Especially walking in the door and being greeted by Bear! 🐶 Finally, Lydia made me feel so comfortable and I felt like I’d known her for years! Overall it was a really wonderful experience and I really enjoyed having a little pamper. Thank you again!🤍
