Horrible unethical chemist, only came into to buy painkillers for a migraine that was coming on and refused because I said last ones I had was a few weeks ago, they want all your medical history poured out to them in a chemist? so thanks to them I am going to have an horrible painful day, avoid this chemist at all costs. There is no miracle substitute from the drs to cure migraine, so get your facts right!

Dr percribed antibiotics and I was told to collect immediately, went in chemist and was told to wait for text after 2pm, I have to point out at this point the rule is the prescription is filled immediately, unfortunately the two pharmacist seem to have no duty of care or knowledge of this RULE. Returned at 2pm dreadfully ill and was asked why I was there ( prescription) to which she said you're getting nothing, she constantly blames the GP surgery saying they don't send prescriptions through ( lies), I told her I would go to Dr's and ask where it was , I got a paper prescription and went back, you could cut the atmosphere with a knife, I asked what do I do with this and all 3 ignored me so again I repeated myself , note at this point the ignorant sales assistant who lies had shot to the back of the shop, pharmacist came said until you get the text you're not having it, I said iv got this prescription but apparently it was more important to say he hadn't had lunch ( not my problem) requested prescription again and he just kept repeating until you get the text you can't have it, at this point I was saying I'm really ill what do I have to do for this to be filled, feel sure this was a power trip on his behalf making me beg also felt I was being goaded into abusing them so he could point blank refuse , at that point he said I could go elsewhere. Omg went to bakes at mapplewell and this wonderful lady took the prescription rang the wells to be told my prescription was on the shelf 😳 she said why couldn't they just pick it up and give to which I replied I hadn't had the text. Reported all three for their behaviour to head office, Reported to GP surgery that they hadn't given me meds immediately and also reported to PCT. Bad staff bad management and whoever designed the text message for meds wants sacking.

They like to tell you your prescription is ready, but then when you go to pick it up, prescriptions are missing and they refuse to give you it wile the pharmacist is on his break, on top of that, they also allowed me to run out of medication that gives me severe withdrawals, I’m epileptic and have severe depression, they were supposed to sort my medication out yesterday by sending my doctor an email but the alternative medication isn’t in stock, they say nothing about it to me until it’s too late as the doctors have closed for training, so I have to wait another day. They’ve ruined my life as for the last two days of stress, and today I have not been able to function due to withdrawals, I am a full-time parent and this is malpractice to the highest level and I am extremely stressed out. 2 months later why is it boots have had my prescription ready twice on time with no alternatives but this well pharmacy couldn’t get my prescription once on time and they gave me cheaper medication apparently, due to National shortages

First time collecting a prescription here, when I explained why I was there, I was asked whether I’d received the text!. How very dare I turn up without a text I didn’t know I’d need. I explained I’d happily wait to which I was informed it could be four days to prepare as they may not have the medication. There was no attempt to look or even ask one of the other three people whether the medication was there or not. I was then asked for my mobile phone number so I could sit tight and wait for my text to arrive, surely they would have had this if I shouldn’t have turned up in the first place without the text! Printed the prescription and changed my nominated pharmacy, goodbye and good riddance to service like that.

I have regular medication, in fact it’s every month, & each time the prescription is sent to Well Chemist off Wakefield Road, Sadly on NUMEROUS occasions they haven’t had the item in, desperately needing the tablets I’d asked my Doctor to ask them to push through as an emergency, still no tablets, ended up getting the paper prescription back & taking to Asda, who thankfully stocks them. Well pharmacy, maybe you could follow suit & keep some in stock yourselves.
