From start to finish Daniel, Jodie and Alix were so efficient and responsive to emails and calls, keeping us informed throughout the process and chasing up others in the chain who were not quite so efficient, ensuring contracts were exchanged on the agreed date. Jodie kept in regular contact with us on completion day and was always so cheerful, she was a breath of fresh air on what could have been a very stressful day. Our experience with Elmhirst Parker and Daniel in particular was excellent. We used them for both our sale and purchase and we couldn't have been happier. Daniel was really responsive to our emails and enquiries, and provided really good advice and suggestions where required. Our sellers solicitors were not the most responsive or helpful but Daniel continually kept us updated and pushed as best as he could. We were keen to complete in advance of the stamp duty changes and with some effort from us and the solicitors we managed to do just that. Alix was also great at keeping us informed, particularly on completion day but also in dealing with a query a few days after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elmhirst Parker.

I wouldn’t recomend this solicitors to buy or sell your house, please save yourself the headache. Really bad service. I’d be lucky to even get a hello when they spoke to me. They constantly removed my partner from emails. Rude and unprofessional. I complained with no acknowledgement. My second complaint was picked up as I requested to speak to the managing partner who just spoke over me on the phone and didn’t listen to my concerns. At this point I gave up. For our house sale we ended up paying more money in liability insurance (fair enough if needed) but the solicitor wouldn’t request equal on our purchase. Really disappointed and they aren’t cheap so you’d expect a semi-decent service. MKB in Barnsley are meant to be brilliant so take your business there 👍🏼
