Globe Holidays

Have just come back from a 5 day trip to Fort William. It was a long drive, obviously, but the driver, Martin, made the time go by so much quicker with his chat and humour. Nice hotel, couldn't really fault it. The coach was possibly one of the older ones but it was comfortable enough and we did have 2 stops on the way. All in all, a lovely 5 days and the scenery was stunning.

If the 96 bus service is not lucrative enough to run as per your advertised timetable, then please adjust it. My son and friends rely on this service to get to college in Barnsley. Buses simply NOT showing up is causing us all a lot of stress. No alternatives offered and no answer at the office. It’s not good enough. Finding an alternative option with less than an hour to do it is almost impossible.

I cannot recommend this company enough! I have been on over 10 day trips and they have always been amazing. Their customer care is outstanding!! I booked to go to Drayton Manor yesterday and got my times mixed up but they made sure I made it to the coach. The driver Glyn was absolutely amazing and a real credit to the company. I will definitely be booking more day trips with them. Globe is without a doubt to best coach company out there!!

An appalling approach to providing a bus service. Both the 14:15 and 15:15 service 96 from Barnsley to Wakefield did not run today (5/01/2026) - I can appreciate unforeseen circumstances causing a short notice cancellation of one service (traffic / staff illness / vehicle failures etc), but all the more importance for ensuring the subsequent service is running. Therefore for the second service not to show is simply not good enough. I have emailed for an explanation given the phone lines were not being answered. This review will however remain, as there is no reasonable excuse for the cancellation of two consecutive services an hour apart aside from a blatant disregard to customer service. Reported to Barnsley Council and the Traffic Commissioner for failing to deliver the service advertised.

Went on the Whitby day trip yesterday..Didn't catch the drivers name sorry, but very professional at all times .. Perfect sums up both my sons and my day once again like last year's .I'm looking forward to more days out .Will definitely be travelling with you again..Thankyou .
