Brilliant place, friendly proprietors, and a vast array of artifacts. Like every good antiques shop, some rubbish, but also a decent amount of good stuff, if you take the time to look. I've had a couple of things, at the right money.

I’m a frequent visitor here, it is without a doubt one of my favourite places to be and there’s always new items around to look at. The staff are utterly wonderful and always answer queries and have a little chat as they retrieve items from cabinets or wrap your purchases up. In the summer my partner visited for the first time with me while visiting my home down (also for the first time) and in some form of utter fate as we were passing through the room to the right of the door he managed to spot a sealed cd of a film that means the utter world to us. The stores always held such a place in my heart, and now it holds place in both of ours.

Who wouldn’t want a mounted lambs head? Big place with wide range of thing. Lot of tat but you might find a hidden gem.

I had the pleasure of visiting Barnsley Antiques Centre for the first time today after discovering it online the night before—and I couldn’t be more thrilled that I made the trip. From the moment I walked through the door, Glen, Cinnamon, and Mia, the incredible owners, greeted me with such warmth and hospitality that I felt like an old friend. Cinnamon had already left a wonderful impression by promptly and informatively answering my questions on their Instagram page, which inspired me to visit. Once there, Glen went above and beyond to help me find a beautiful ring that I had initially overlooked. It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for—a treasure that I’ll cherish. The shop itself is a wonderland of history and beauty, filled with fascinating, mysterious, and stunning pieces. Exploring it felt like embarking on a cultural journey, and every moment was an absolute joy. Barnsley is truly fortunate to have such a gem of a store, run by people who genuinely care about their customers. I’ll be eagerly looking for any excuse to return—it’s a place you don’t want to miss. Thank you, Glen and Cinnamon, for creating such a magical space and for making my day so special.
