Lovely to see the baby ducks, geese, water fowl etc; and the lake is quite clean and clear. The main paths are well maintained, so it's a shame that some areas close to the water are quite overgrown with nettles; but that might be to protect the birds from people getting too close? It would be nice to have some facilities there, e.g. a toilet block, water drinking fountains, bird watching hut and so on.
Beautiful in summer, muddy in winter. Asphalt paths need to be extended around the pond as drainage is poor. Woodland paths are accessible. Trees are adequately maintained. Plenty of bins for waste but some people do not want to use them - shame on them! The public are friendly as are the dog walkers. Generally a good experience.
Always a beautiful walk around this park
Pretty park with paths and fishing lakes, kids play area and skate park. Spent a lovely hot day wandering around the area. Its got free parking and paths suitable for pushchairs, bikes and walkers. Nice woods and unpaved paths yo get lost in
Popular with our granddaughters ; a lake to walk round, ducks and geese to feed. An exciting playground for toddlers to 10 year olds. A bridge for pooh sticks, chatty fishermen; a lovely afternoon.
