Paid £50 for a family of 4. Waste in my opinion the one in Mansfield is much better. 1 of the large slides wasn't working. The wave machine only worked on one side of the pool so everyone was crowding over to the side that did. Water was cold. Wasn't in very good condition at all lots of algae behind the signage. Dirt around the pools. Only really got 2 pools to use really if you don't like the slides. Nothing else if u don't to use. We didn't stay much past the hour the kids were unfortunately cold and bored.

We went today to Calypso cove , the last day of the school holidays (1st Sept) expecting it to be brilliant just like the adverts on social media. Well the pool is filthy really filthy, there is rust everywhere! The 3/4 slides were closed! The wave machine was not working so no waves! We still paid full price, and additionally I wanted to go in the sauna but no! £19 they wanted for me to use that, we are not in London, we are in barnsley! I shall not be recommending this place to anyone unfortunately. However if you do want a really good water park sand castles Blackpool is the place to go we was there a few days ago!

Fantastic day out for the family. Not overly priced for the swimming and they limit the amount of people in the pool at any one time so it’s not overly crowded. Great slides, wave machine, children’s pool is really big with lots to do. In the centre there is an arcade and bowling alley we didn’t use them but they looked really good. On site restaurants serving a verity of food, there is a burger restaurant and a fish and chips restaurant. Great day out for all the family.

Yes definitely buy tickets in advance, my son age 5 loved the flumes and my little ones enjoyed the pirate ship. Wave machine not actually that strong compared to some I've been to. It's a great place to visit. There's now a soft play here for the kids too as well as a nice restaurant. Could definitely spend a day here doing everything that's available in food, no complaints all kids were happy as was I :D

Definitely better than the 4.3 average stars it currently has. It's a touch tired in the changing room area but my daughter and I loved our visit on the whole. Something for everyone and every age group, our 1.5 hour time slot flew by. The three main flumes were fast and thrilling without being terrifying. The diving board area was good fun. Normal main pool with lane swimming section. 4 lane waterslides to race down. Definitely be back and we live an hour away, so I think it's worth the drive over.
