Extremely large spacious store with plenty of parking outside. Staff extremely friendly with every one I came across asking if I was ok and needed help. Clean and tidy too. Would recommend as no issues.
Been a member since march 2017, was happy with gym, pool and pricing. But just done a mass refurb and wow, even more happier. New machines, all new decor, fully refreshed and revived to modern day for any body builder, fitness guru. (Tyre flip, sledge pull, punch bags, etc) A wonderful change and no extra cost for me. Have a look or trial. I think they give free one day trial on the full gym (workout, swim, jacuzzi, steam room)
Brill gym to train at, everyone says hello to everyone and has a good little atmosphere, not drastically busy which is a bonus in my eyes. Few dated pieces of equipment but plenty of alternatives. Staff are spot on, especially Debs she always greets you with a smile and has a positive attitude and always goes out of her way if you ever need anything
Cant fault it. Alway clean and staff always happy to assist. Steam room always working . Ive never smelt wee here like other swimming baths. Im not a gym user but my fella has never had an issue when he uses it. X
We live in a time where people can post honest reviews in public forums which makes me wonder why dw do not make more effort to please their customers! During my membership at dw here are some of the negatives i have experienced. The reception staff are awful. To be fair this is mainly the 'older' ones. Always grumpy, never smile, seems like everything is too much trouble. Seriously dw most companies bend over backward to provide excellent customer service. Sort this out. There was a recent refit, interestingly the number of machines reduced and were also down graded to a low quality machine! Given that other gyms in the area are upgrading their equipment this again shows dw lack of interest in their customers. The changing rooms are dirty and outdated. The swimming pool water is always cloudy. Just think what is causing that.... The steam room was either broken, cold or smelt like mould. There was always a member of the local traveller commhnity beating the hell out of the punch bags (seriously dw why were these installed) or intimidating everyone. The membership was expensive, comparable with bannatynes Which is a better equip friendly gym. Some of the betters points.... It was never busy.... ...needless to say i no longer use this facility.
