Great bar. Great staff. And great atmosphere.
Atmosphere was electric, probably had something to do with the band playing by the name of Cover2Cover. Prices and service was great, first time visiting but won't be my last. Highly recommend the venue and the band playing.
A nice quirky bar down a few steps. What’s gem of a pub. A short walk from the pub but if you follow the crowd you won’t miss it. It’s only a small pub but upstairs is the higher room. Toilets are upstairs and very clean with various smelly stuff for people to use. There’s a pool table if you fancy a game and several tv on the walls to watch the sports. Staff were very nice and service was quick.
Probably the best pub left in the area. The beer is always outstanding, fine selection of real ales. The landlord when on is superb. Wonderful atmosphere, whether its a normal day or a live music night. Staff are very friendly. Mucky fat sandwiches on a tea time always go down well! A proper pub. Well done to James and his team for taking over. If you've never been I cant stress enough how much to go!
Cozy bar with live music every couple of weeks. CAMRA PUB OF THE SEASON WINTER 2017! Great selection of drinks and a friendly welcome.
