First time customer, ordered via website (which seems to have a technical issue) and was initially disgruntled by the 99p service fee but then I received a 98p discount as it was my first order. The meal (a Chick 'n' Rice Meal) was ready and waiting on arrival and the staff were pleasant enough. The restaurant was nice and clean but a bit dishevelled outside, don't be put off by the exterior! Inside it's huge but bizarrely lacking in furniture so it feels a bit odd. We drove home with the food, it was still piping hot, the chips probably lost some crispiness but that's understandable. Chicken was tender and tasty and the portion was generous when unleashed onto a plate. It's a bit of a trek for me but if I were in the area I'd consider a return visit.

My first time visiting the Batley branch, and I genuinely cannot fault it. The food quality and incredible taste surpass both the Bradford and Leeds branches, in my opinion. Everything was cooked perfectly, the chicken was juicy, and the spice level was spot on. The service was fast and friendly, too. This is now my go-to location! Keep up the brilliant work!

Placed a click-and-collect order worth £86. At collection I explicitly asked, “Is this everything?” and was told yes. When I got home, I received multiple missed calls saying they had forgotten the chips and then tried to claim I had left items behind. The staff member on the phone was pushy, refused to accept responsibility, and would not deliver the missing items despite it being their mistake. I was pressured to return to the store, only to find it closed with no answer on the phone. Offered a 10% refund for their error and the wasted time, which is completely inadequate. Poor customer service, no accountability, and very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

Simply the best in the region, excellent food, brilliant service, very very fast, and the staff are amazing, always greet you in a friendly way and make you feel like a part of the family, highly recommended.

If I could give Pepe's Batley less than a star I would!! Ordered two chicken meals, got home to find out the size of the burgers were just about bigger than their tubs of sauce!!! Rang the branch and spoke to a women who couldn't care less and wasn't bothered... she argued these are small everyone knows but failed to mention this when ordering and no note online either to say you'll get portions less than a kids meal... basically paid over £11 for just fries!! Wouldn't even class this as a kids meal let alone anything else. Save your money and go somewhere else... below average food and poor service from staff
