Came here based on recommendation from friend. Decided to order the chef platter for £18 with mash and rice and the beef was lovely and tender. The masala chips were way too saucy and struggled to finish. Not something I would order again. Took a chicken tandoori fatayer home - £9.50 and it was the best fatayer I think I’ve ever had. It was delightful if a little pricey. The lady serving us Anjana was extremely personable and friendly and she is a credit to the place. She was the only server we could see and she was polite with everyone and professional. Parking is available after 6pm so unsure what it’s like before then. They prefer cash but did end up taking our payment by sending a link to our phone which was very helpful. The vibe and decor is lovely and very clean. Ample seating available. I would return for the fatayer 100%
We regularly order takeout fatayer from here, and wanted to leave a specific review for their leg of lamb and pathani chicken, both were cooked to perfection, the lamb was soft and tasty and the attention to detail to the sides as well, rice , salad etc, made the whole meal special We’ve had dining in and also catered out, and the service as usual has always been amazing, going above and beyond Can’t wait to have the lamb again !
Ordered 4 platers, with different sauces and side dishes. The steak sauce was very spicy. I asked for it NOT to be splodged on top of the spicy fries but it was. I suspect this was to hide the cold fries. The boiled vegetables were not boiled simply warmed from frozen. To boil them would have another 15 minutes so opted for the rice. The rice was way too much and again cold. Finally to pay you have to pay cash or go onto some link they eagerly want to send. NO card machine. The young ladies serving however were very apologetic on behalf of the establishment and very friendly.
First visit and food was great especially the Fattayer, prices are reasonable and service speedy and on point.
Amazing leg of lamb with all the trimmings, ready exactly when it was supposed to be, and the family meal was right on schedule. Also ordered roast chicken, this was perfectly cooked. Great service as always and definitely recommended.
