Absolutely amazing experience, went to the viewing, rung and expressed by interest and then after 3 days heard back that they’d like to proceed. Joe who has been the main estate agent I’ve worked with has been amazing, answered every single one of my million questions immediately and with kindness, made sure I felt supported every step of the way and even went out of his way to let me re- view the house to take measurements for furniture. All documents have been sent over in a timely manner and any queries I had about modifications were taken to the landlord and answered promptly. Genuinely couldn’t fault him or the estate agents as a whole, they have been amazing!

Barkers were amazing throughout the sale of my property, especially when dealing with solicitors who were extremely difficult to deal with. Barkers communicated clearly and regularly with me throughout the process, and went above and beyond at the end to ensure the sale of my house through. I would like to thank the entire team but especially Rachel and Nicola who were amazing throughout. I would definitely recommend using Barkers for anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

Absolutely brilliant! Lovely, lovely people. I knew straight away when the agency owner (sorry i forgot her name) came to give me a quote on selling my late dads property. She was so respectful and saw all the positives and potentials of the property, instead of like the other 2 agencies i got got quotes from, who only pointed out the obvious and spoke only negatively about my dads choice of decor, which to me is not professional. All the Barkers staff have been fantastic, not only professionally but also personally like when i turned up in tears finding it hard to let go of the property that had only ever been in our family and had always been my safe place, they listened and i felt totally understood and heard. On a professional level, when our buyer started dragging his feet and coming up with all sorts, Barkers were on it, no messing, straight (but professional) talking, and i was always kept up to date with everything, i didn't have to do any chasing at all. Thank you so much for doing what you have and making the whole experience stress free for me. I highly recommend Barkers Estate Agency for a family feel, professional, thorough, stress free service!

Just like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the office in Birstall especially Rachel. They were so helpful to us, looking back I wish I’d have gone with a smaller local high street estate agent like Barkers . The service was friendly and more personable without having a third party involved. I’d recommend Barkers definitely local business 👍👍🤩

Shocking service - quick to want to charge for things they actually shouldn’t be charging for (repairs to bathroom seals, pre-existing damages to property) and then don’t pro-actively get things fixed. Last year it took them 10 weeks to come and fix a leak (only when I disclosed personal medical info did they act with any haste) and then this year, the same problem has reappeared because they sent a cowboy last time who bodged it. They’ll lie, delay, and argue with you, they’re not interested in being presages with facts, just interested in collecting their rent. Never again!
